$\"\"$ Youth4Climate (Y4C)<\/strong> and its partners have launched the 2024 Call for Solutions<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Y4C supports the implementation of youth-led and youth-inclusive solutions<\/strong> to environmental and climate challenges, both financially and through capacity development, for a more innovative and inclusive impact on the ground.<\/p>\n

In response, the Government of Italy<\/strong> and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)<\/strong>, in collaboration with a range of knowledge partners and youth constituencies, have set out to identify, support and scale youth-led climate breakthroughs through the global Youth4Climate initiative.<\/p>\n

Structured as an innovation challenge, this second edition of the Y4C Call for Solutions aims to support the work of young people and youth-led organisations in five thematic areas: Climate and Environment Literacy, Sustainable Energy, Food and Agriculture, Nature Assets, Sustainable Consumption and Production.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Successful applicants will be awarded:<\/p>\n

– Up to US$ 30,000<\/strong> to implement or scale the proposed innovations.
\n– The possibility to access technical support<\/strong> to strengthen their capacity on specific topics.
\n– The support from a mentor<\/strong> to develop their proposal.
\n– Storytelling opportunities<\/strong> during next events of the Youth4Climate initiative and through the Youth4Climate Platform and Website of UNDP and its partners.
\nProposals, if successful, can be implemented over a maximum of 24 months. Proposals can be submitted in English, French or Spanish.<\/strong><\/p>\n

How to apply?<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Step 1<\/strong>: Go to the Call For Solutions 2024 Guideline and template page<\/a>. You will need to register on the Youth4Climate Platform to gain access.<\/p>\n

Step 2<\/strong>: Please download and read the Guidelines Document carefully. It will tell you everything you need to know on who can apply, the requirements and important deadlines.<\/p>\n

Step 3<\/strong>: Download and fill out the budget and workplan template. Prepare a 3 minute video pitching your solution using the instructions provided in the Call For Solutions Guidelines.<\/p>\n

Step 4<\/strong>: Complete your application and submit your proposal via the application platform!<\/p>\n
